Merci Celia.”
PHILIPPINE DE SAINT-EXUPERY
Thanks to Celia, I have learned a different way to use my instrument. She taught me how to relax and how to activate my senses making me available to every kind of stimulus. With her you go deeper. I am still surprised how quickly I can access emotions now. Celia really creates a safe, environment where you can learn, explore and try new things. She taught me how I could be different characters, that everything I needed was within. She has the gift to see the real you. Acting is truly living and you remember it with her.
In other classes and on set I was uncomfortable with the way I was digging with no safety net. It felt sane and safe with you. Thank you for such a great opportunity to work on the craft, to remind me that this is the only path that means so much to me.

ACTOR COACH & TEACHER CELIA ANNE
ERIC MORRIS SYSTEM OF ACTING
She does private coaching sessions on and off set in Paris, France where she is also on the faculty at Bilingual Acting Workshop Paris teaching intermediate/advanced level classes and special workshops. She joyfully travels to teach, as well she is available globally via Skype sessions.
This work will transform who you are and how you express yourself. It will transform your inner being as well as your craft. It opens up a more authentic, visceral connection to the character and your inner self, adding greater authenticity to your artistry and your whole well-being.
As an endorsed teacher of Eric Morris, Celia Anne draws from Eric’s profound and applicable instrumental and craft techniques. Also infused with her teaching is more than a decade of teaching Yoga and Meditation that has given her a particular view and understanding of the human experience, the archetypes within and the mystical unseen and felt creative process.
Celia Anne has extensive background in the Arts. Dance was her first love. She was born into a thespian family who ran a theater in Montauk for many years as well, they produced in NYC. As an actress she has experience in theater, film and television. She has worn several hats including Casting. During the past several years Celia Anne shifted her focus from Professional Acting, called to immerse herself in the teaching of Yoga and explore the healing practices of other cultures, all of which has resulted in redefining her vision. Full circle, she now returns to the Performing Arts as a teacher being given endorsement by Eric Morris (international teacher and author of eight books including, No Acting Please) to teach the Eric Morris System of Acting Internationally.
The late great George Morrison (New Actors Workshop with Mike Nichols the director and Paul Sills, improvisation master and son of Viola Spolin) has also been a masterful long term and inspiring teacher in her life. Her Acting training also includes Emerson College (BFA), Circle in the Square, Gary Swanson (Actors Studio). Since her return, she has also begun to direct, write and a role as Creator/Producer is perhaps in her future. Ensemble created works, brilliantly scripted stories of humanity including the socially relevant documentary, fill her with divine inspiration to be part of any way.

CELIA ANNE BROWNE ACTRESS
Celia Anne’s role as a Teacher took center stage more than a decade a go, her passion shifting focus, so she is currently not pursuing a career as an actress, though of course a select cameo here and there if she could get it, might be quite fun
“Always interesting to watch, able to express what is rolling beneath the surface in a way that is truthful and organic, never showy. A rare ability to be viscerally connected with emotion. Fearless and multi-faceted. Great with drama but possesses a wonderful comedic side, which can sneak up on you when you least expect it.”
“Celia approaches a role with enviable focus, fierce intelligence, physical grace and disarming empathy. She is a gifted nuanced actress who smartly balances gut instinct, compassion and craft when approaching a character, whether one of Landford Wilson’s more debauched urban survivors or a more effervescent A.R. Gurney creation. Her performances are never predictable; her work shines with a visceral, spirited energy and eloquence.”
“Celia is a directors dream. I find her work delicious. In one moment she can reveal a fragile vulnerable heart and in the next rears up a wild spirit of ferocious courage. In the film, “The Query” her work was raw and searingly truthful, which is simply what I find her to be in every area of her life.”
